FAQ

Does SomniSentry record all night?
No. It records short clips only when sound is detected.

Can I delete clips?
Yes—any time, directly in the app.

Is transcription automatic?
No. It’s opt-in per clip (Pro).

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure microphone permission is enabled.
  • Place phone on a stable surface near the bed.
  • Disable Low Power Mode (can limit background recording).
  • Keep volume threshold reasonable (too high = fewer events).
